Getting Here

Belize City International Airport is a short non-stop flight away from many cities in the United States, Canada, and throughout Central America. See more information HERE. When booking your international flight, please be aware of your landing time. For commuter flights, we recommend arriving to Belize City no later than 3:45 pm, as the last flight to Placencia departs at 5:00 pm.

Once in Belize, you can choose to take a shuttle or a commuter flight to the resort. The shuttle is a 4 hour tour starts with an ice cold Belikin beer, the premier beer of Belize. Your ride in a luxury, air conditioned van, includes a local tour guide and refreshment/bathroom stops. Or, you can choose to take the breathtaking 35 minute commuter flight down the coast of Belize to the Placencia Airstrip, where our complementary shuttle will pick you up for the 15-minute drive north to the resort. We are happy to arrange your connecting flight.

If you would prefer to rent a car and drive from Belize City, you can take the Western Highway towards Belmopan and then turn off left onto the scenic Hummingbird Highway. This route takes you through the lower regions of the Maya Mountains towards Dangriga. Turn off right onto the Southern Highway and look for signs to Placencia. You will see the entrance to the resort from the road. The journey from Belize City to The Placencia will take approximately 3 hours.
