No other real estate development in the country, the Caribbean or Central America has a 100% vertically integrated construction company as part of the development group.

The Placencia Group’s construction company is pioneering the quality of construction in Belize. We do not deliver a sub-par ‘Belize product’ with wood frame construction similar to other developments in Placencia and San Pedro. We have no wood in our houses that can be infested by termites and compromised by strong winds.

The Placencia Group incorporates solid concrete construction throughout our development in our single family homes, villas and condominiums. Our commitment to this high level of quality dramtically increases the energy efficiency of our product which has long-term savings for our owners.

The Placencia Group offers a solid concrete roof system which utilizes a 4 inch think concrete roof which is tied into columns and friction pile system which is 24 inch in diameter, driven 20 feet into the earth. Each pile is then tied to the column which is inturn tied to the roof creating a monolithic structure that can withstand Category 5 winds. This type of construction far exceeds standards seen in North America. The pictures below are of The Placencia Group’s crews working on our oceanfront villas at Rendezvous Island. Notice the workers tying rebar on the foundation and roof and the finished concrete roof next to the roof with palm leaves attached to the concrete structure.

Marina Village Construction

The Placencia Group commenced construction on our Marina Village Condominium Hotel property in the later part of 2011. The 52 key Marina Village will be in the heart of the development with restaurants and shops on the first floor and the condominiums and hotel suites on the second and third floors. The Placenca Marina main pier extends into the Caribbean Sea right in front of the Marina Village, offering access to the only super yacht marina in Belize. The pictures below are of the completed foundation and commencement of vertical construction of the main building which will house the reception area and restaurant as well as condominiums and hotel suites on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Notice the sailboats in the background and close proximity to the Caribbean Sea and the nearly completed Building A of Copal Beach Resort.

Copal Beach Resort Construction

A collection of prime oceanfront condominium homes situated on over 1000 feet of Carribean frontage. Over 6-acres of lush landscaping, outdoor bars and restaurants, swimming pools and lazy rivers, and a massive and impressive guest check-in experience.
